I am a third generation native Californian, raised in both Santa Barbara and in the San Francisco Bay area. I attended U.C. Davis, where I earned a B.S. in Human Development
and subsequently took additional coursework in early childhood education. When my husband's work brought us to Los Angeles, I attended CSU Los Angeles, where I earned a multiple subjects clear credential. I have been teaching kindergarten at American Martyrs since fall, 1985--which makes this my 29th year of singing and learning with 5-and 6-year-olds in the parish!

I live in Torrance with my husband, my two dogs, and my cat. I have two daughters, Laura and Lisa, who are both graduates of AMS. They are now studying at my alma mater, U.C. Davis. Go Aggies!

In my leisure, I enjoy hiking, gardening, singing, and reading.
