I started my teaching career here at American Martyrs School in 1986. I relocated to Palm Desert in 1988 and then to Gilbert, AZ where I continued my teaching career. Several years ago, I was given the opportunity to come back and teach first grade at A.M.S. This school is a very special place. I love the sense of community we have here. We are very fortunate to have supportive parents and wonderful children. I feel very blessed to be part of such a wonderful school.
I also direct the Mustang Player after school drama program with Mrs. Halushka. It's a wonderful experience for children where they learn all aspects of putting on a musical . I would encourage all children to participate.
I spend my summers, holidays and many weekends with my family at our farm in Illinois. I love to share my experiences with my students, so you will hear all about farm life.
