News and Announcements

Third Week of Advent - Gaudete Sunday
Gaudete Sunday- we have reached the midpoint of Advent. Rose colored vestments and the rose colored candle of the Advent wreath call us to rejoice (gaudete in Latin). The spirit of the Office and Liturgy all through Advent is one of expectation and preparation for the Christmas feast as well as for the second coming of Christ, and the penitential exercises suitable to that spirit are thus on Gaudete Sunday suspended, as were, for a while in order to symbolize that joy and gladness in the Promised Redemption which should never be absent from the heart of the faithful.

Christmas Concerts
Each year the students' performances at our Christmas Concerts is a lasting memory of the joy and anticipation we celebrate in Advent as we await Christmas Day.

Our second concert will be on Thursday, December 18th at 7:00 in the Parish Gym. This night grades K, 2,3,4, and 5 will be sharing their musical interpretation of the reason for Christmas.

Everyone is invited to share in the joy of the concerts. Click on the Church's website and Live Stream videos on the right and you can enjoy the 1,6,7, and 8th concert. The K,2,3,4 and 5th grade concert will be live streamed as it is performed and will then be available as an archive.
