On Tuesday, May 28, bring a "dedication" to your classmates. You need to share a song (provide lyrics either on screen or typed out), a poem or write a letter to be read aloud. Whichever one of these you choose to share is fine....but remember..... you are looking for words of MEANING to share. They can be words of reminiscence, words of good luck/blessing for the future, words of gratitude or words of advice. NO INAPPROPRIATE MUSIC VIDEOS

You will share these with your classmates on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Hi Parents~ I have been sharing with all of my classes regarding my trip to Guatemala
this past summer. We (the team from AMS who went this summer) are currently trying to get 400 copies of the book, Tattoos on the Heart (Spanish version), donated so Father Boyle (the author of the book and founder of Homeboy Industries in LA) can take them when he goes to visit the gang members in prison in Guatemala in June. This is a GREAT way to not only help share God's message of love and hope to gang members but also a powerful way to show the students how we can share in a missions work to change lives. If you are willing, you can purchase a book at Pages Book Store in downtown Manhattan and have your child bring it to school. I will collect the books and see that they get to the team going down with Father Boyle in June. Thank you !
