Mission Statement

American Martyrs School, a Catholic parish school united with our Catholic community, celebrates the unique gifts of every person and fosters life-long faith, academic excellence, and an inner drive to serve others.

 

Philosophy

American Martyrs School affirms the dignity and goodness of all of God’s children from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. The faculty, staff and administration of AMS assist parents in their responsibility for the Catholic education of their children. AMS provides an environment for practicing our Catholic faith and celebrating the Church’s liturgical life with the guidance of our pastor and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. AMS recognizes each child’s role as a citizen of the world by fostering life-long Catholic leadership, academic excellence with standards-based curriculum, individual personal integrity, awareness of moral and social concerns, and service to others.
