Course Description
8th Grade Physical Science
8th grade focuses on the physical sciences with emphasis on chemistry and physics. Trimester 1 will focus on basic chemical principles, including the structure of an atom and the periodic table.
Scientific exploration will also be emphasized in 8th grade. From the creation of a hypothesis, to experiments, to lab reports, students will be expected to participate as both group members and individuals during investigations.
