Here is the FIRST TRIMESTER update of what the children have been learning since the beginning of the school year:

Sign of the Cross & Monsignor's Prayer

Greetings: Hola, Como estas? Muy Bien, Mal, Asi asi, fantastico, Mucho gusto, Me llamo...

DRAMA: Hola, me llamo..., Ella es mi ….hermana Maria / hermano Francisco

SONG: A E I O U    Cuantos anos tienes tu?

Family: la mama, el papa, la hermana, el hermano, la abuela, el abuelo

* Feminine and masculine adjectives that describe people: guapa, fea, buena, mala, alta, baja, fuerte, rubia, morena, peliroja, castana. Goal: enable the children to describe a person, a family member a friend.

Weather: Hace frio, Hace calor, Esta nublado, Esta lloviendo, Hace viento, Hace bien tiempo / Hace mal tiempo.

We are working on combining different words to reflect an idea. For example, my mom is beautiful. My dad is strong. My friend is nice. The children are able to describe themselves and describe other people. 

We just started working on simple sounds so that the children can learn how to read and write simple words.
