Ji Yeon Song is excited for this new year full of singing and music making!
Mrs. Song has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Music in Piano Performance from Boston University. She studied composition, piano, and voice at Eastman School of Music and San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Mrs. Song has served as the Lower School Music Teacher at American Martyrs School since 2016 and Music Director for American Martyrs Youth Choral Music Program since 2018.
Mrs. Song is passionate about teaching music and she loves working with students to help them recognize their own innate musical abilities. When Mrs. Song is not teaching music to AMS students or directing the American Martyrs Youth Choir, she is vocal coaching, accompanying singers, rehearsing chamber music, teaching piano, or producing music.
Mrs. Song is grateful to be a music teacher at American Martyrs where she can guide students on the exciting journey of creatively exploring music around the world through listening, performing, improvising, and composing.
