Bio

Kasie Heck was born and raised in the South Bay and has dedicated her life to elementary education. Mrs. Heck graduated from Cal State San Marcos with a BA in liberal studies and a minor in linguistics. Upon graduation, Mrs. Heck earned her California multiple subjects teaching credential at Cal State Long Beach. Mrs. Heck then completed her teacher induction at UCLA while beginning her career as a kindergarten teacher at Saint Anthony's School. Mrs. Heck worked at Saint Anthony's for five years, as a kindergarten aide and teaching first grade, during which time she earned her master's degree in curriculum and instruction with a special emphasis in inclusion from Concordia University. Later Mrs. Heck taught kindergarten at Our Lady of Guadalupe until she stepped away from schooling to begin her most important work as a mom. Mrs. Heck has two young children whom she adores, a daughter, Henley(5), and a son, Hudson (2). Mrs. Heck is thrilled to join the American Martyrs community as a teacher and parent.
