Other: TK-2 STEP Coordinator; Teacher at AMS since 1996; over 45 years of experience in grades K-3; grew up in Colorado and Utah; widow; mother of two sons and grandmother of two granddaughters and two grandsons!
I am currently working in the position of Reading Specialist where I am able to work with all of the students in grades TK-2 providing enrichment and additional instruction in all areas of literacy including reading, writing and phonics. I am blessed to be able to get to know the students in all 10 of these classrooms and help develop their love for reading.
Professional interests include inclusive education and it's implementation; literacy instruction; early childhood education.
Other interests include reading, cooking, the beach, and spending time with my family and friends.
