Bio
Hello my name is Amy Plank I am one of three First Grade teachers here at American Martyrs School. I started teaching at AMS in 2005. I started my teaching career at St. Marks in Venice CA where I taught in the 6th and 8th grades. After leaving St. Marks I taught in Torrance CA at St. James for five years in 3rd grade. I took some time off before coming to American Martyrs so I could spend time with my two sons while they were young and not yet of school age.
I feel blessed to be a part of this community and to work with a very warm, loving, and talented faculty. I enjoy watching the first grade students grow in their knowledge of Jesus and expand their horizons in all academic areas. It is a gift to wake up every day and look forward to going to work. I plan to be here at AMS for a very long time.
